She is also a parent of two diametrically-opposed, equally and endlessly fascinating daughters – neither of which look like her, or each other.
At last count, her 3,000 square foot, 100+ year-old house (thank goodness she’s 3/4’s carpenter: WBNR’s former Cool Tool Girl, she still checks in at her other blog) typically is bursting with cats, kids, teenagers, friends, the Big Black Dog, and a fish that somehow survives on no food.
At least, none to my knowledge. Then again, parties and sleepovers are often planned without my knowledge.Elizabeth Bushey Inkless Tales’s Profile

Create Your BadgeMy knowledge, as you will learn from reading this blog, is quite eclectic: oddly sketchy in some major areas, yet bizarrely thorough in some surprising ways. You’ll get the hang of me.
Some moms call me brave. Some – like my own – call me crazy. My daughter’s dad scolds me; calls me irresponsible. The way I look at it, if my circle of family, friends, and frequent visitors are happy, fed and not on fire. (or at least not anymore), we’re all WAY good.
Sort of my philosophy of life. Keep reading – you’ll see. In fact, we’ll be working out our philosophies as we go.

Hi there Elizabeth,
Just bumped into your blog while searching for a ref pic on K.Richards (for an illustration I’m working on) and I have this complaint: Your writting is so witty (I’m thinking about the hilarious WVP business for instance) that it just put me off’a my working frame of mind and made me keep on reading in spite of myself. I don’t use the net for social interacting at all (it doesn’t make much sense to me, when I can’t even seem to communicate to neighbours next door or to my relatives across this small country (Portugal) but this is it, I really need to say that you’ve made a difference on this sunny, yet somewhat dull Saturday afternoon on ‘Europe’s East Coast’. Great writting, nice blog!
Thank you,
Johnny
